Keep my heart open 2

This soothing aqua and gold abstract was painted in oil on gallery wrapped wood...In a world which could use more love and peace, I wanted to make my own contribution to the positive emotions by remembering that it is up to me to take responsibility for keeping my own heart open...If each of us could do that, the world would become a more kind and loving place. The very intentional energy of this painting is to be a loving blessing to the viewer and collector.

I worked on this painting around Mother's Day to also honor the many children who do not have loving birth mothers, and the many women who are not themselves biological mothers, and yet spread the loving nurturing energy of mothering in their varied relationships.
